I just read that all of the 610ctd have a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty for the first owner. If you are a second owner you have to pay some kind of a transfer fee before 30 days have past since your purchase of the vehicle. I may have read this just in time. Has anyone done this? What might it cost?

Also, what is the original warranty on a 2005 2500ctd? I have looked all over dodge's website and cant find it. I guess i better call the dealership tomorrow, before i lose out on the warranty.

 

My dealer told me that the warranty follows the truck, not the owner. I've had some work done on mine and I'm the 2nd owner. I was told that there isn't a transfer fee.

I think the 2005 came with a 36 month, 36000 mile bumper to bumper.

Check with your local dealer that will be working on your truck should it need it.

Yes, the motor comes with a 7 year / 100,000 mile. Transmission is only covered under the vehicle warranty as far as I know.
