tranny

Would a automatic be quicker than a manual, since you can only shift it so fast. Also, do they make short throw shifters for the 6 speeds.

yes a built auto in these trucks will be quicker....most drag trucks are autos and most sled pullin trucks are standard

Thanks, I still don't know which kind I am going to get. My step dad has a 06 with a 6 speed and I havent really tried to shift quick. I am wanting a 99-02 cummins.
