studebaker cummins swap

I have had the idea to take my dad's 48' studebaker 3/4 2wd pickup and use my 92' as a donor vehicle and make the swap. What do you guy's think? Should i put the body on the dodge frame or try to swap the cummins and getrag and dana 70 in the studebaker frame? Has any of ya'll heard of this swap before or am i just cracked again? haha thanks

Find a beat up truck to use as a donor. If the 48 frame is kinda small I would go with the dodge frame. It would be a lot easyer, just have to make body mounts if the wheelbase is the same. you can make the dodge frame shorter or longer.
