The Straight Pipe Poll

I'm curious as to how many of you have a straight pipe here... Now lets see if I can remember how to make a poll.

Hey does one of the mods mind changing the second one to say the following:

I have a straight pipe and I have gotten in trouble for it.

I was going to go with a straight pipe, but on a 3rd gen it sounds terrible with the cat removed (off road use only). I went with a MBRP and it sounds good.

Had a 5'' turbo back straight exhaust going to 5'' turn out stacks on my 2001. Would literally rattle cars so much it would set off alarms.

Never had a word said to me! God, I miss that truck!

Taken care of for you.

I have straight pipe too, never gotten in trouble or asked about it. Although I am quite reasonable with it, and by that I mean I am not running through residential areas at 3000 RPMs in the wee hours of the morning. I don't want to attract that kind of attention to the truck.

I have never gotten pulled over for a straight pipe, but my brother got pulled over for his dual exhaust on a 318. It doesn't make sense since his is quiet compared to mine

I havea 4 inch straight pipe with a 5 inch tip. I haven't gotten in trouble with it yet but i have had cops follow behind or right next to the exhaust outlet before. I don't know if they were looking to sem how loud it was or if they were just enjoying the sound.

How about "Had only straight pipe, now straight on demand"? That would be me.
