Smoke Stories?
I got another one today. comin home from school (halfday) a girl in my class turned on to my road so i took the highway home and got infront of her before she got infront of me again i forgot to shift (whoops) i was in fifth for a bout ten seconds then i remembered to downshift. haha her car disappered. I ran into her in walmart. I asked her if she needed another paintjob.

Get a TST box and turn it up to 9x9...ALSO, this is the KEY part...cut the boot from the turbo to the aftercooler so it won't build over 5 psi boost.
Worker REALLY well last night when I helped a friend put his stock charger back on, (his H2e blew a seal and was puking oil ALL OVER THE TRUCK
) but we couldn't find a hose big enough to use as a boot, so we reused the taped up stocker he blew with his H2e.
BTW, I'm not telling you to go get a TST and turn it all the way up, that would be REALLY bad for your clutch and lift pump
, but that truck last night would smoke so BAD I couldn't see behind me AT 1:00 in the morning!!! Turned on the cargo light and found out why...for some strange reason, there was a thick fog following us down the road

thanks Chris i dont know that much about diesels as i do gassers ive been working on them all my life this is my first diesel i just dont wanna do anything thats gonna destroy it ya know but thanks i just wanna know what all i can do that will give me some smoke and performance with out killing it or breaking stuff thanks again Daniel

I need to tune out the WG, and install a couple items I have laying around here.
What's done to it?
huge vavles, P&P'd head, double valve springs, 14mm head studs, Haisleys big fire rings, coated bearings on the bottom, bored .020, balanced, JR's 1450 pump, JR's injectors, JR's '55, and Big air in the twins, no intercooler, and a couple mroe trinkets.
What plans in store?
To break 900rwhp on the dyno.

how much hp are you at now? just curious. Wonder whos truck would win a race.....lol...or a towin competiton...lol.....ne guesses people? i wont be offended if u say merrick would hand me my rear! I'd be proud to be beaten, especially by a rig such as Merricks!
that doesnt mean i dont have a chance tho.....

I'm going to get on the dyno within the week...
I'd say real close to 600rwhp "out of the box". Some tuning, and it should scoot a little higher in the HP game...

Yea, sold one rig, the other is totaled......so im workin to get a new rig...im gunna get a cummins to bomb the heck outta, and a nice new truck..ne suggestions?

I think the best one ever was about two years ago... I was on I-20 headed west out of Dallas towards Abilene with a load of cattle on my 01. Traffic came to a halt for a while but when it started moving again some poor guy in a convertible mustang was right where my 5" exhaust tip was pointing.... I covered him in smoke and then the cattle covered him with.... well ya know

Wolff, somehow I don't think that ANY amount of black smoke tee'd the guy off as much as the cow squeezins did. That'll teach him to hang out too close to a cattle trailer...... Must have been a city slicker travelling between towns.....

. I went out (for a clutch install) to the shop that built his turbos and got to see the same model turbo he has for a secondary (supports 600+ as a single) - I can only imagine how big that primary is! I assume J.R. did your pump, too, Merrick? I've been talking with J.R. about a p-pump conversion once I gather the money, so you might have some competition in the HP department by TiM '06!
