I've pulled mine out and put it back in several times, right now it's in, I'm going to try with it off again. On my dad's 2000 it feels like it added power, but who knows.

Mine is long gone

I have a Dodge Freak "friend" with a 96 5-speed who says when he
removed it the truck was slugish on bottom end, who knows, like I
said he's a Dodge Freak
