here is a link to Schaeffer Oil, I really like it compared to valvoline primium blue. Seems to hold up better and will go about 2k longer between changes. (this is by the seat of the pants feel, running valvoline PB I dont need to look at the milage to determine when change is due, engine tells me by how it sounds/feels). At approx 3k engine sound changes and then I look at milage and say yep, its due. Have gone to 7k on schaeffers Supreme 7000 15w-40 before getting that feeling, but usually happens at around 5.5k to 6k. Anyway, here is the link http://www.schaefferoil.com/

I second that on the RP price. They are quite proud of it at $8 a quart.

I really liked RP, especially the 85w140. I'm using Scheaffer 7000 now - it's handier for me to get. I'll stay with the RP Maxgear til Schaeffer sells their gear lube in something less than 5 gals. That's my only complaint about Schaeffer. Craig

Yeah... Me too...
5 Gallons last for quite a while! Hahahaa...
I was sold on Schaeffer when it lowered my engine temp 21*F on my stockcar... That was huge! I could run a lot more confidently wide open!
Supreme 7000 15/40 here too on the truck... I think it is $4.50 a qt.

The only rear axle I ever burned up had Royal Poopal in it. Knew a company that tried the gear lube in a piece of equipment that used a synthetic Mobil lube, cost them about $45,000 to fix the gear drive. Had another company loose bearing in a gear-reducer, Royal Poopal said the bearing must have been defective. The bearing was fine before the oil change.
I could go on, but I don't use thier lubes.
