Royal Purple
Royal Purple
I have seen this name mentioned in a previous post for power steering fluid. I did get 3 bottles of the diff fluid fron jc whitney to try. Is this a good oil??????
Re:Royal Purple
I have Royal Purple in both diffs and I also use the Max-EZ power steering fluid. All the stats on it sound good (flash point, pour point, etc...). I guess it's used in alot of racing applications....

I was researching some of their motor oil and tranny fluid as well... i don't think they meet the specs we need though.

Re:Royal Purple
I asked RP about the diff and tranny. They said Maxgear 75/140 in the diff.( no friction modifier needed) and Max gear 75/90 in the nv4500. They also said it would meet D/C specs for warranty. Be your own judge of that.
I have the 75/140 in the diff and it seems to be doing fine. I have read some posts on these boards of guys using it with success. JMHO
