Even though I don't agree with running red on the road I think that is totally despicable of the dealer.I would never step foot on their property again if that was the case.
Ratting out someone because he broke a well-known enforceable law? Knowing about an obvious violation and ignoring it is worse. I've bought eight vehicles from them. They are honest in their dealership and service department and I will continue to do business with them.

I will add this to the equasion, that I have not heard before. The next town, Moody Alabama, decided a couple of months ago to use off road fuel for their town and fire trucks, which is legal, they do not pay tax and get it refunded from the state.

In todays newspaper it was reported that after checking, the warranties would be canceled on some of the equipment if they ran red fuel. So another change and found another distrubuter for road fuel. They burn over 2000 gallons a month.

I think that you will find that normally the fuel is, and here it is, the same as road fuel, comes from the same pipeline in Midfield Alabama, but it is not federally regulated as road fuel is so that in some cases and areas it is not the same.
