i had an 06 cc, now i have an 06 mc. i have two kids, 3,7, the cc was kind of cramped with car seats and getting them in and out. i traded it for the mc, 100x better for kids, also 8-10 inches of storage behind the seat, rear seats recline, and they lay down flat for 4-5 feet of rain free hauling room if you dont have the kiddos. i think the cc looks better and is easier to get around in if you have the swb, but i would never go back to a cc since ive had my mc.

I went from a 98 QC to an 06 MC so obviously- I'm loving my new truck. I got the 6 speed- left it stock except an AFE Stage II with Torque Tunnel air filter setup. Driving like a sane humane I get around 20 mixed driving and no trailer. It doesn't seem to care mileage wise whether it's just me, or 5 people in the cab and a pallet of ceramic tile in the bed. It drops to around 17 when towing 5-12K lbs. I've never pulled over 12k pounds.

The wife loves our "Man Van" and my two kids (11 and 2) adore this truck. I have number 3 on the way as well- I couldn't imagine owning a quad cab- not even a new one. My brother has one- very cool, very nice truck- but I'll stick to my mega cab thanks. It really is a wicked 4x4 limo- I've slept comfortably in the back while the wife drives on long, long trips- and I'm 6'1"

My favorite feature thus far? With fuel prices what they are and me living 20 miles from a decent place to shop- I can take the whole family in this truck, we can go shopping for anything, even a months worth of groceries and still be comfortable on the way home. That is a REAL fuel saver- only having to make one errand trip a month if need be.

BTW- I'm planning on owning this truck to at least 1M miles. I can't imagine ever needing anything else.

I feel you on that.....groceries are a pain. When the back seat is full you gotta put them the floor, and there's about enough room for for a loaf of bread and that's about it.
