Power gain after towing?

So it's not my imagination. Pulling does make a difference. Just to test the theory I volenteered to pull a friends boat back from the same storage place. (His Chevy is getting tired) Same trip as before but a much lighter boat (3200 Lbs). I thought maybe I could get even MORE power after a second tow. Pulled great but no noticeable difference in power. Oh well!!! Looks like I am going to have to look for a load to pull every once in a while to keep the cummins happy. I already told my brother-in-law that when he gets a load that is too big for his Duramax to pull he can call me.

That's why the Powerchoke and Duracraps are classified as light duty...'cause they can't haul anything like a nice medium duty engine *cough cough CUMMINS*
