Old ford tractor

Hey all, the tractor took a crap today. It's a 1960's tractor, took the valve cover off the diesel engine.. found a cracked leak off tube.

The tube looks like this, there has to be away to fab one up for less cost? Any ideas?

Where is it cracked? How good are you at brazing?

I would either rebuild it using the old banjo fittings with new tubing or depending on how its cracked braze the old one up.

Either way you decide to do it, it has to be sealed because you won't know its leaking till the oil is super diluted with diesel.

You said it took a crap? What exactly is wrong, the part you are showing will only cause a fuel leak if cracked it will stay running. Brazing will fix that problem.

Are the parts still available- your link shows an ebay item?
by the time you pull the old out and monkey around trying to fab up a new one or chaseing cracks in the old- for 70.00 dollars it seems more effective to just replace the bad part- what is your time worth?
