Oiley tailpipe
I'm just talking, but it could be blow by, valve stem seals. 115K on the clock though that just does not seem to add up in my mind. Is it real oily, dripping off the pipe? Those seem to be the only two things I can think of that would allow engine oil into the exhaust. Or perhaps a turbo seal leaking on the hot side? I've seen that on large truck turbos, metal seal ring on the hot wheel grooves the bearing housing or carboned up and sticks/breaks and will leak. If it was that you could probably drop your down pipe and look for oil, but if it was valve stem seals leaking and getting blown out the exhuast it would show up there too. Or drop the turbo and see if there is any oil in the exhaust manifold, if not and turbo is oily I would assume turbo.
Like I said though, this is me just thinking out loud. I'm sure more knowledgeable folks will be along shortly to confirm or deny my ramblings.

You just put on a new exhaust? The two exhausts I have put on had a sticky oily residue on the inside and outside of the pipe. When the truck was started and the pipes got hot, the residue melted and dripped out of the tail pipe. It was nasty, like oil, but after a week or so of driving the residue was all burned off. No more oily tip!
JS was it like cosmoline that stuff they put on parts to keep it from rusting and such?? I never thought of that with the new exhaust. Good point, I'd hate to be the one to send him on a wild goose chase!!

All 4 inch and up exaust pipe has to be mandrel bent, in order to do this the pipe has to be dipped in an oil solution so the machine can bend and manuver the pipe without destroying it. Like others have stated, drive it for a week and burn it off.
Now go enjoy that 5" exaust sound.

ALL new exhaust systems have the oil. They can sit in inventory for a long time. If you went into napa to buy a new pipe and they came out with an old rusty looking thing you would not be happy. They also store them in unheated storage that will cause metal to "sweat" with temperature change.
