took of the ring yesterday and notic so m oily resdue on the ring and turbo fins is this normal im running an k and n filter but i dont think for long

 

the oil is most likely the K&N filter oil that comes with using gauze filters

 

It is most likely the K&N but you might want to check it occasionally to see if there's more and what color - if I remember right the K&N oil is a pinkish color (?) but if it's thick like engine oil you might want to have the dealer take a look, the seals maybe starting to leak - I don't think you want to hassle with a Run-Away....
