Oil in the Coolant resv.

Why is there oil in my coolant resv.? I did a radiator flush and didnt see any oil in that but when i flushed the resv oil came out....Is it my head gasket? I thought yo would have coolant in your oil not the other way around....whats goin on here?

get yourself a pressure tester. a cheap one from any auto store will work. Just attach to rad cap, pressure up to what your manual says, and wait. It will slowly drop from natural pressure drop at the cap, because they aren't 100% sealed, but if you have a cracked head or crack in the oil cooler, it will lose pressure more noticibly than normal cap loss at the tester.

and then what?
where do you look for where the coolant goes? in the crankcase or look for white smoke when you start the engine?
