I almost got to have a ride in that truck. Tyron Malone I beleive the person's name is whom use to drive those trucks in the 70's up untill the 90's. My Step dad was friends with him when he worked for Bandag tires. We met him one day in Kamloops BC and a few weeks later my Step dad and brother went for lunch with them. I was busy at camp that week.
I think I missed out on a life time chance on that one.
They were the fastest semi's in the world for a few years.

This guy has been doing it for 21 years! There is nothing like the purr of a properly set up detroit! This is a pair of 8v-92tta's 2800hp 5600ft/lb four turbos 2 blowers and a little nos. I assume for the fire out of the turbos. Burns a set of rears down in 4 minutes on full steam. Pretty sweet machine, I bet it sounds so awsome in person I would wet my pants. Home page: http://www.bandagbullet.com/ Apparently this is the fastest heavy diesel truck in the world!
