Noob here to the CTD not Dodge

I am new to the CTD but not Dodge. I have been buying new Dodges for almost 20yrs now and this is my first Diesel. I just traded in my 03 QC 1500 4X4 Hemi after buying a new camper and finding that my hotrod has problems towing long hills. Since camping is one of our family priorities it was either go back to the popup or try the CTD. I gotta tell you....I love this truck!!! Gets way better fuel economy than my Hemi did and pulls my 6000lb + camper like it wasn't even there.

approaching a hill in the Cummins is like me eyeing the end of a straight stretch on my CBR.... mmm corners. It's nice to see what your vehicle does so much better than others. You'll find the cummins does everything better than a gasser :-)

Welcome aboard!

hope your new ride treats you well, this is my second diesel, first was an idi f250 7.3, and before that my first truck was an 83 f 150 4 speed, 4x4 gasser with a 300 inline six.. YOU WILL NEVER GO BACK to a gasser!! best of luck with ur truck and congrats on your purchasing it..

Tx

Congrats on your "wise" purchase. Read the manual, ask questions here (not at the dealership) and enjoy the ownership of the best engine on the market.

The owner of the dealer I work at threw me the keys to a CTD a few years back to haul my trailer one weekend......she knew she had a sale!
