well dodge ran an 8 3/8" diff for years in thier full size 1/2 tons ........it's about the strength of a danna 44 .....as is the gm 10 bolt used in their 1/2 tons

and most of the domestics ran dana 44's in the front ........heck I've got an 8 bolt dana 44 i the front of my old 75 power wagon 3/4 ton .... it's been holding up for a lot of years

 

The new Trailer Life mag lists the Titan with a 9500 lb tow limit when optioned out correctly. There is no distinction between 3/4 or 1 ton for the Nissan in their list.

Rust? When I finally let my little old Nissan pu go with 194k on the clock at 11 years old, it wasn't rusting yet. I hope my DC product is as good.
