General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

Newbie here....

Just bought myself a new 2004 3500 Cummins dually yesterday and wanted to stop in and say hi.

I am coming from the Ford world as my last two trucks were powerstrokes...all I can say is why did it take me so long to get a Cummins

My new Dodge is leaps and bounds better than my 03 F350 dually that I traded in. I can't even begin to count how many ways the Dodge is better than my Ford's were.

Anyways, I am extremely happy with my choice and I hope to get many miles of trouble free towing.

I'm doing all all right today....should have seen me yesterday. CPS (cam posision sensor) went out on my F350 for the second time yesterday in less than a week. Then someone in oncoming traffic yacking on a cell phone swerved into my lane and wiped out my mirror....was pretty grumpy, hence my user name when I registered yesterday.

Welcome to the site, Grumpy, and happy to hear you like your new truck! I have found this place to be a friendly gathering post to get good, honest suggestions for our trucks, and hope you have as much success here as I have.

Welcome

Grumpy:

Welcome to the site, and, there are a lot of folks here in the area that can help you out if you want to do a few mods. Are you on the Cowtown Jeep Board?

Thanks for the welcome.

The first time the CPS went out it stranded me in 99 degree (not including the heat index). The second time I was able to get it running and drove straight to Dodge.

BBWD, I haven't come by a link for the Cowtown board yet. Do you have the URL?
