Six-Speed Automatic Transmission

New GMT900 pickups (Silverado, Sierra) to be out in late '06.

 

I work @ a Chevy dealer and I haven't heard anything. Right now there a 6.6L with a 5 speed allison.

 

the 6 speed is coming for the 06 model year... i have one of those chevy insider news letters that states that... i've had that since early 05.. no displacment change with the engine though...

 

With GM closing plants and laying off 25,000 people in the next few years I really wouldn't feel too secure with their ability to service products .

 

They tease the public long before they tell the dealers something. All big three are the same.

They won't even teach thier mechanics to trouble shoot problem vehicles, why spend the time to inform? They do teach them to change parts. ( and get a piece of the $$$ )

I doubt they will up the power more, they can't keep the 6.6 cool now!!!!

 

Your right about that! The Public/Customer/Tv/Internet is our best for a heads-up on whats coming out before we even know about it, RECALLS?
