New Diesel Only magazine
Picked up a copy today @ Barnes and Nobles. Good reading. Seems like its opions are partial to banks as mentioned earlier and Ford because thats what the editor drives. But, O'well, its the first issue and we'll see what happens in the following issues. So far so good. I was looking for a subscription form, but, Nuttin.

i love the mag but did someone forget to tell him that the best diesels 12v,24v and 7.3 were all made before 2003. all of the products they advertise are for the new trucks and trucks they show are all brand new models. i'd like to see mitchell on the next cover he's the one who really got everything going not banks. no matter what forum you go to dodge, chevy or ford no one uses that high dollar banks crap anyway. if there going to call it diesel power then do some extreme mods like build up a pulling truck, cams, pistons, twins, what programmers to stack, which injectors are better stuff like that. don't just be a banks catalog and instruction manual. i hope the next issue is a little more mechanical, who would buy a hot rod magazine if all they showed was how to install a programer. but its diesel talk so i have to buy it and love it

Very good point!
Like you, I also hope the magazine contacts some of the other "big diesel
vendors" in the U.S. for a really big project. As you said someone like Mitchell,
Scheid Diesel, Edge, TS performance, Scott Bentz @ "Cummins Rocky Mountain",
Jeff Garmon. These vendors have shown they can build drag trucks, rail dragsters,
great pulling trucks that can really put the power to the ground! I would like to
know how the magazine decides who to contact?? Does the magazine call or write
them or have those vendors contacted them beforehand??
