New Diesel Only magazine

Diesel Power magazine I beleve it's called. My wife picked me up a copy last night. Pretty good read. It has a story on the International CTX "pick-up". It also has a big 3 shoot out. Ford "Harley Ed" wins. Well, it is only their first ever edition for this mag. They'll learn soon enough . Anyway, It seems to only be quarterly for now but overall not bad toilet reading for 3.99.

Heh buddy, how are you doing?? Thanks for the "heads-up" on the new
magazine! Will you be able to make it down for our "N.C. Spring Dyno and
Drag Race" on April 2, 2005????

Take care.

Where did you get a copy of it? I've been looking around here in the west but haven't seen any.

I too have been looking forward to a diesel-only magazine that is tuned to our forum and interests. I hope in future editions though that they get more current information as that shootout was published in another magazine a month or two ago.

I finally found a copy of the new "Diesel Power Magazine." It looks to me like it
is pretty well "dedicated" to Banks! Kind of disappointed really...................

that's too bad it's siding with banks, the guy I bought my truck from had the Stinger Plus kit put on and I'm ready to replace most of that stuff!! It's got good power but it runs HOT! I don't know what the deal is, I've heard other guys with banks stuff on the 2nd gen 12v's sayin the same thing...first thing I'll be doing is putting a scotty2 in favor of banks stock size cotton element, then rip out their "monster exhaust"(more like monster poop) for a full 4". and keep goin from there as far as my wallet will let me go-no wife or girlfriend for now!

anyway I haven't found the mag yet, apparently nobody sent it to central cal yet, still looking....

I'd say give it chance. A new mag has to start somewhere and Banks was willing to spend the time on them.

Since it's new it makes sense that they will have to sell a lot of ad space to get things going. I'd give it a chance. I picked up a few copies from barnes/noble last night and it was fun to read. The owner of the magazine is a powerstroke 6.0 owner, so what do you expect in the shootouts?
