New CTD

Hi im new to the site. I just got a 1998 dodge 24v quad cab. it came with a western ultramount plow and with some mods a edge comp,injectors,intake,4'' exhaust. It has 112,000 on it and the trans shifts fine but im having it built up for towing. i got the truck and everything else for 10,000.

Sounds like a nice truck and a really good deal.

Get Gauges!!! especially with your mods, EGTs could get toasty quick.

Welcome! Get a cup of coffee and search the site around for lots of info.

A fuel pressure guage is a must. Without it you have no idea if your lift pump is pumping fuel to your injector pump. If the LP is weak it can take out your $1,600 injector pump.

Don't mean to scare you, but we see lots of 24 valvers come in here wondering why their IP is burned up. Without guages you are driving blind.

Thanks for the help. I was planing on get more gauges cause the only one that i have is boost. I got my new 5'' exhaust today. Wheres a good place to get a down pipe?

Yep, have owned majority of the stock for years.... Gonna put a Cummins in the Fords next year!
