Mobil 1 Truck & Suv change interval?

Now that Mobil 1 T&S is available for the same price as regular Mobil 1 I'm probably going to run it exclusively in my truck. How long can I safely stretch my change interval?

I had an oil analysis done at about 6,000 miles...10,000 kilometers and the result comments stated it could run much longer. I am going to try 10,000 miles and do a test and if its still good, I may try 15K miles later this summer.

Keep us filled in Scotty. I've got about 5500 miles on my current fill of T&S. Did anybody else pick up about 1 mpg when they put it in? I only had 15k on the truck, and was running #1/#2 winter blend at the time. Changed the fuel filter and air filter at the same time. Not sure if it's due to the other filters, truck got a little more broke in, or if it was actually the oil.

With stock injectors you can easily go 10k or a year on a good dino oil. Run the Mobil 1 for that long and get it analyzed, you may be able to go even further.

I think the synthetic oil is actually slicker than dino oil and will show up as extra mileage. That's why it's better for your engine, it reduces friction, has greater surface tension etc...
