mobil 1 truck and suv oil

i found it at wally world in the 5qt jugs today. but i noticed it is not ci-4 plus rated (just ci-4). my owners manual is at work. i believe that our trucks just use ci-4 rated oil, correct?

Just put it in mine with 7000miles on the clock. Heard nothing but very good things. Will get Blackstone report in a few months.

The M1 T&SUV is Delvac 1 in a more marketable container. I think it's safe to say that it is ONE of the top synthetic oils for our trucks.

It is just gettin cold in Mich and I notice much smoother start up with the 5-40 t&suv than I did with 15-40 last year. My truck turns over easier and oil pressure comes up faster.

I switched my truck over to this oil yesterday at 12k miles. I have been running Valvoline Premium Blue. I intend to go 15k between changes since most of my driving is highway and occasionally pulling the 5th wheel. I am also running the Mobil 1 Synthetic Extended Life motor oil in my wife's Hemi.

I've been running Delvac 1 /M1 T & SUV since 2001 steadily. Over these past few years I've had it in 3 different diesels, and all get fantastic oil analysis results, and do well year round. It's awesome that it's available now in so many more places, and the price has dropped. It definitely works well over extended drains.

I've used Devac since 1980 and never wore a motor out! One has 295,000 on it and it is a gaser.
Great oil.
