There is a 2001, 5spd, qc, short box, 98k miles, gauges for $19,995. I know the previous owner a little bit (not personally). I know he had a box on it and did some hot-rodding around. I might ask the dealership if it ever had performance mods to see if they lie to me. Good deal, bad deal, so-so??? NADA has it for $19k trade in, and $22,200 for retail value. Thanks a lot.

 

It sounds a little high to me. I bought mine for that about 3 years ago with less miles on it, but I bought if from the owner. Is this from the dealer? I would try to get them down to around 18K.

 

I would look for a virgin that never had a box on it. Fuel boxes CAN cause problems.

 

Just make sure the dealer has checked the fuel pressure. It would suck to buy a truck with a dead lp.
