Hey there herring chocker. My mother's side of the family are all from down home back east know what i mean. Who's the big spender there boy with rosmella and a regular fleetguard. When I buy my rig presents she get's Valvoline Premium blue with the endorsed by CUMMINS sticker on the jug and not the regular filter but the stratapore #16035. No seriously good on for for for having that many good miles on the old girl without a problem. With regular maintenance expect double what you got on the odometer and then a simple valve/ring job puts her on the road again till the dodge carrying that cummins rusts out!

Same filter as the LF3894...a better filter than the LF3959 (especially with the synthetic oil)

I tried for the stratapore filter , i even went to the cummins dealer when they didn't have one at work, and cummins was out of them. so i took the next best thing.

Yup.

Im not sure if its a FULL synthetic though. The Rotella you have there isnt either. A FULL synthetic oil is a group 4 syn and contains NO petroleum.

Last time I checked, the Rotella and the Valvoline Extreme wwere NOT fullly synthetic.

If you boys gave your girls (or wives) this much attention you would have alot bigger smile on your face!

Change the oil and have done with it!
