how to keep a big turbo lit?
how to keep a big turbo lit?
last night i decided to help kill my tires a bit so i revved her up good in 2nd gear and let the clutch fly. well it worked for a second then the truck didnt have enough power to keep them spinning and it bogged down to where i had to push the clutch in and stop.
then i tried again and the only way to burn the tires was to keep it floored at 3k rpms and not let off, where as i used to be able to pump the throttle and liquify the rubber when the boost built.
anyway i realized its due to my big single im running now...and this disappoints me as i can no longer have a little fun because i cant keep that big single lit on my 24v with the low redline
anyone else have this problem?

comp is fine...both first and second i guess rev out too quick and i cant get enough boost to make power and keep the tires spinning. these big turbos are great for fun on the top end but without a convertor to help build boost, its a boring ride down low
i guess i just need that smarty even more now.
