how fast does your truck go?

i wanted to see what my truck would top out at or where the governor would kick in at and i got my truck up to 120 mph pretty quick where the speedometer topped out at and was at about 2800 rpm i red line at 3300 rpm and then gave it more fuel and the edited by admin thing kept going faster and faster i don't know how fast i was going since the speedometer stops at 120 mph but i know i was going way faster than that because when i pushed the pedal down further to give it more fuel the truck still had allot of pull to it I'm guessing around 125 -130ish i stopped around 3000 rpm i didn't want to chance hurting my tuck. are these truck governed and if so what are they set at.

I'm not sure what they top out at. Had mine up to 100 before and still torqy! I had a guy the other day in a f450 furd thinking he was gonna outrun me, we hit a bit over 80 and thats when I laughed, cause then I knew he was done, at 85 I started to slowly pull away, 90 I left him. I know for a fact the f550 with that spicer in the rear and an automatic top out at 80-82 and thats it. I was on the I-state in light traffic(in a F550), open roads and was pinned in the fast lane with a heavy foot trucker behind me and wanted to get out of his way, funny thing is he passed me when I got over in the pokey lane.

I know mine will pull right up to 120mph, then it just shuts down after that. Most other trucks do that too, unless they have an over ride box or something.

I've had my truck up to 140km/h on the speedo. I need to get my governor spring in badly . Mind you, after 140 its a 7000# flying brick and it gets more shaky than a 6 year old on a sugar high.

Mine will run 100 MPH exactly, no matter how long you holdthe skinny pedal down on flat ground. This was verified using a gps unit. The factory speedo said about 94.

I've gotten mine up to 118 mph next to a Hemi, well ahead of a Hemi I should say, (my old Boss who is BTW way slow). I remind him everyday when I pass him going to work and flip a finger at him showing the correct number of his IQ.
