2) Fast enough to kill most everything it hits, even at legal speeds.

Remember, you may be able to get your truck up to speed pretty quick, but try stopping it at those speeds when a motorcycle pulls out of your blind spot.
Also, while your out qualifying for the Darwin award, dont forget what letter is on the sidewall of your tire.
The term "Death Wobble" may take on a whole new meaning when you lose a tire at those speeds.

Those white signs with black numbering on the side of the road are there for a reason.

Best to keep activities like this on the track, thats what they're there for.

i don't know i have taken my 06 over 90mph, it just does not feel right. not that there is anything wrong with the truck but I don't feel comfortable doing it. stick to 70-75 and I am good. If I want to go fast I will take out our MB E420 and cruise in comfort at 120. my previous ride (subaru Impreza STi) would do 145 with no problem. now that i think about it I took my old 96 Ram (1500, V8 360) to its 120mph in high school 10 years ago.... little smarter now....not much...

I've taken mine to about 100 MPH. Too scary after that!

Maybe i'm just paranoid, but I don't like to drive fast because i'm afraid of messin up the tires. The stock bfgs are about 180+ a tire.

I've tried mine on the german highway and with the edge pulse and some other stuff on it it would bury the speedo. The speedo isn't corrected and the BFG MT tires aren't too great for extreme speeds. Now I keep mine below 100 mph (tire speed rating) and still I manage not to be late
I'd be extremely careful about overspeeding a tire in warm weather especially, since a blowout at these speeds with the high sidewalls we run could actually ruin your day.

We can do 75MPH... I honestly don't really drive that fast anymore. I do know that my Dak, and 1500 4x4 were both comfy at 110+

would you believe on I-10 here in Texas from San Antonio through west texas, the legal speed limit is 80! sounds to me like a way to boost fuel consumption, rather than slow it down!

I run right up to 100MPH , then the goveroner has pulled away enough fuel to slow me down , my 3K kit should fix that.

I let my wallet dictate how fast my truck goes....

Right now it is the speed limit +15 to pass...

Maybe in a year my wife won't hound me so much..

I wish my race track would open back up... I love to get out there and drive slideways through the turns at 70mph!!! That will get your adrenalin pumped up and ready for the next turn!! Nuthin like steerin with the rear wheels!!

But with the truck... (sigh) speed limit....

Mine will feel like you could stomp on the pedal in the 90mph range and throw you back in the seat, when it gets over 100mph it starts slowly climbing to 107 top for me. (I don't know how much aerodynamics affects it on mine.)

With 14 years of pulling broken bodies from twisted metal (Fire&Rescue), I don't have the ***** to go over 75mph or so. Even then I'm as nervous as a prostitute in church.

I save it for the strip or dyno.
