General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

thedieselstop.com is where they hang out. As for chips, ask the Ford guys over there, they'll have a ton in information.

www.ford-trucks.com is a good one too. I was a member there before I bought the Dodge.

thedieselstop.com for site, SCT for box. NOT SCMT, SCT I repeat SCT. Running an 05 I would be concerned about the motor build date. Some of the big problem motors were the 03/04 builds...EGR/Turbo VVT/Flash boiling coolant (puking). If it is new to you and still has engine warranty I would get a Ford tech to run an OASIS report on it prior to putting a box on it.

PS. The factory air box is top notch, don't f with it unless you are really bumping up the numbers.

I've been on thedieselstop.com since 1997 and there really isn't a forum out there that can compare to them IMO. Their philosophy is much the same as ours in terms of making it a place more for technical information then for acting stupid and being rude. They have about 80k members over there compared to the other sites presented here. Many of the other sites you see out there are started by disgruntled members of the bigger ones, because they can't seem to play by the rules.
