Ford Forum......

Hi Guys.....A buddy of mine here in the UK has just bought a F350.powerstroke....There are a couple of niggles with it...and i'm wondering if theres a Ford forum like this one...Questions/answers etc....

This site has been great for us here...have solved a few quirks he had with the dodge....He asked me to have a wander round the web....so i thought...I'll ask the best......hence my question...

Thanks.....Chris.....

I had hung around the diesel stop while researching trucks, long before I got into Dodge.

They used to get REALLY nasty with you if it looked like:
1) You didn't post in the right forum
2) You started what looked like a brand war
3) Said anything bad about F**D or the truck

I'm not saying don't post; just be forewarned.

Having said that, there are several guys on the site that REALLY know the F**D product line and know it over years, mid-year changes, and model years. They are a GREAT avenue for support.

I haven't been on there much for the last 2 years, since F**D butchered the launch, support, and eventually the reputation of the 6.0

HTH

Tony

I was a member of the ford-trucks.com website (come to think of it I still am, although I no longer own a ford). I will say this there are some guys there that really know thier stuff when it comes to fords and ford trucks. However a lot of people over there (and on other ford forums) that are not as open minded to other brands as we are here. Some of the diesel guys really hate it when you mention Cummins. Maybe its that whole Ford owns Cummins misconeption.

I agree with u here

But the jingoistic attitude (extreme pride) and immaturity of some of the members made it a miserable place to be. I had enough with them, so i just plain quit postin on there, Frankly i dont care about the atmosphere there anymore, although i cannot dog them, at one point when i had my IDI they were helpful as can be. Just the way that many of them acted detered me greatly and soon as i got a cummins well i was shunned upon there. I have seen many members from TDS come here, i dont go and cause or reak havoc on their site, it just so happens that ive just about made this one my home..
