Filled up today at noon, $1.99 a gallon.

Drove up to Idaho to get some powerball tickets,
drove by the same station 4 hours later, $2.03.

Sitting just under 1/2 tank now, so I'll have to fill up again soon.

diesel #2 price update-
averaging $2.43 today in central/north Cali, Premium Unleaded is $2.33...
this is unprecendented (@least in my CTD experience, which, admittedly, is brief, but still....) & reeeeealllly sux!
it'll be nice when election time rolls around so bush's buddy prince bandar can help out & give us all a break on fuel prices....

It has creeped up .06 since friday at the cheap station 2.33 this morning, the Chevron next to the freeway is 2.69. They are on the slide up to Memorial day week end, then it will prpobably drop a little until 4th of July and mericulously will probably drop down to almost normal prices in October to give the boob in the White House a push for re-election.

Diesel price actually dropped here at one of the local truck-stops, from 1.68 to 1.61. I hope that is a continuing trend, but doubt it. Gas continues to rise, about 1.88.

STILL $1.75. Gotta be 4 months now. Add $.09 to all the gas prices, though.

If they would park the vehicles, it might help. The problem is, no one is going to park them. With the high prices of fuel today, you would think that the people with the big gas engines would slow down a bit, not happening, when they pass you on the highway, you can hear the exhaust, it is at full throttle and they are flying....

Wow! Regular unleaded is now $.15 higher than diesel around here. May have to park the Hog and start driving the truck to work.
