Still at $2.09 in the Seattle area... but regular gas is donw around $1.89.... go figure

With sweet crude going over $44 a barrel this week, I figured gas would jump, like diesel did, but it didn't. It actually went down a couple of cents at the station I use.

not that I'm complaining.

$1.919 at the local BP Amoco, but it's 50 cetane Amoco Premier diesel fuel, and one of the highest state fuel tax in the union. 87 octane at the same station is $1.979

I think the stations are jacking the price of diesel to try to keep Gasoline prices lower.

I found one for $1.639 yesterday! Others I see are now $1.719, $1.739 and $1.859. With the recent news, I expect to see diesel in the $1.90's...DFW area..
