I knew someone bought out someone else.
Too hard to keep track of these days.

Ford owns Cummings though, I'm sure of that.
I read it on the internet so it must be true

Say goodnight Dick. WOW! Without even meeting someone face to face, we can tell their approximate age, TV habits and what they were into circa 1967. And by replying, I also have given away the same vital information about myself. Isn't the net wonderful Jim

Actually ran from 68-73, and half those people are probably dead now.

Back to thread subject: on the news this morning they were saying oil company profits are up over 900%, does that surprize anybody? I guess the Beef/Dairy industry wants their piece now they are raising prices. I guess it's time to get out the fishing pole and walk down to the lake to get dinner, **** prices of the license went up again!

Well, that's our wonderful 'free marketplace' economy!

Keep raising the prices as long as they keep paying the price...

It's amazing how many people just will NOT change, say, their vacation plans and will pay $3+ a gallon, just so the oil cartels don't "control" their lifestyle. The cartels sure have control of their pocketbooks!
I wonder at what point it WILL make a difference in buying? $5 a gal.? $6 a gal.?

Now that petroleum fuel, LNG, beef, and milk prices are going thru the roof, I wonder how long it will take before NOBODY can afford the prices, and quit buying?
OR the economy as we know it collapses?

That's because the oil companies know who's pockets to fill and who's to empty as long as there's an administration that's all for BIG BUSINESS in the white house.

Flying J Posts their prices on the web.

Barstow, CA is the most expensive at $2.279
Jackson, GA and Gulfport, MS are the cheapest at $1.469

California is by far the most expensive. I love living here, but why is diesel more expensive then even high grade gas. This will only drive up the price of all consumer goods. By ship, rail, or truck it runs on diesel.

I wonder where the refinery here in Pueblo, CO is doing to tie into all this maddness, the prices here are about $1.42 for a gallon of Diesel, where as 85 octane is $1.89, 87 octane is $1.99 and 91 octane is $2.19. If were paying for 2.19 for 91, we might as well start putting in 103 or 105, they are going for about 2.255 a gallon. I have friends that are putting in 103 in their cars, and they are paying just as much as they would for 91???????? All I know is that I am glad I have a diesel, I still only spend about $45 to fill from 1/8 of a tank to full. I fill about every other week... Denver is OUTRAGIOUSLY priced, 91 is at $2.21!!!!!!!!! Up in denver 103 is going for about $2.19.... HOW DOES THAT WORK?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Here's the prices I saw this morning at low range 87 2.15/ 89 2.27/ 89 2.49/ diesel 2.21. We can't even get the good stuff unless you gor to a race track and I don't even want to know what that costs.

Chevron previously mentioned jumped up to 1.99 yesterday.

Phillips is still at 1.89. (as of noon today)

Guess where I'll be filling up next?
