Found 3.9l 4b(t) for sale

I found a 02 3.9l 4b(not sure if it is turbo, did they make it without one?) It is rated at 125hp, p-style injection pump, says it runs strong can hear run. Everything included except alternator for $900. Does this seem like a decent price? I really haven't thought, or looked into these, but it'll be pretty cool in my early bronco. Thanks.

Seems like a good price for a running 4B. I would buy it. You can always add a turbo later and you can BOMB them the same as our 6BT and ISB engines.

If it's not a factory turbo motor the compression ratio will be too high for long life with a turbo.

It is a turbo engine, which is pretty cool. I need to find out more about these little guys. Any info you guys can give will be appreciated(I know, I know, I'll search) Looking for weight, dimensions, anything else that will help. I have a NV4500, but it came from a gas truck not a diesel. Would this bolt up? I'll get to searching now.....

Depending on the transmssion that came on the 4BT then the gas NV4500 is the easiest one to make work with a simple plate adapter, if it came with an SM465 originaly. You could however replace the adapter ring with one from a 6BT and use the HD-NV4500, your starter will also be located in the oposite side as well.
