My thoughts exactly

IF they still cannot get the 6.0 right, then what are they doing putting more parts on it that are prone to failiure as well? Its not funny seeing an 05 on the side of the road cause it wont start anymore, much less cause the PCM on it went out.. why didnt they just keep the 7.3? Emmissions is my guess...

they got rid of the decent 7.3 because of emissions your right but i think this 6.4 twin turbo is just going to be a bunch more headaches for people

I've seen a Ford broke down in front of my house pulling a 5'er. It was slightly moded... AFe Air box, Perfromance Box of some sort... And gauges on the A-Pillar... It lost the intercooler boot... Blew off at about 19-22 PSI of boost... Well I told him the Dodge trick with hair spray... He wasn't too happy with the idea so he opted for Ferd parts...

Bailin wire & Duct Tape! - I sure hope he made it over the grade...

eitherways

i think it adds up to problems.... I am not bashing the 6.0 i have ridden in a buddys single cab chipped truck and GOOD LORD! IT MOVES! Pulling, well pulls like a gasser, the computer controled turbo is a doozy too, really nice almost instant spool up when u demand it, which gives it the diesel feel, yet the high rpms and lack of low end grunt really kill the buzz quickly and gives u that gasser feel again.. the only thing that is killing that 6.0, is all the ford tweaks it has, Why has it been successful in the medium truck version as the VT 365 for a few years now and as soon as it hits fords, its a dud, that is the question... As far as that 6.4 twin goes, more parts to break, more prone to failuire which is gonna probly reduce ford sales worse than the 6.0 did... My predictions, dont get me wrong ford makes a good truck, they just mess up the engine somehow...

Tx

The only thing ive seen with twins factory is the vt 275 which they are suppose to be testing for light duty ford trucks. Ive seen the engine, I saw it in a class as i am an international mechanic. The truck story could be hear say from my teacher

How in the Heck do they fit twins under the hood of a FORD (Farts out Radiator Dust)
cause they have absolutely no room under there.
