Flagstaff, AZ area shops?

Just moved to Flagstaff AZ. I don't have a garage/driveway yet to do my own work and my 98 12v needs some work. I'm looking for a good shop to fix my oil leak, advance timing and adjust valves. Any AZ people have any suggestions?

The valley is not far away and there are several places where people have been happy with the service. I have used Fred Swanson a couple times, did a good job, just hard to get a hold of.

Shops ?

Stay away from AM-PM on the east side, bad attitude, high prices, and you can't go near your truck, they were OK for the towing but they will never touch my truck mechanically again. Later I heard that the 4x4 shop about 3 blocks west of there on the main street thru town had a good rep but it was too late for me to try them.

Any specific suggestions in the valley? I know Fred, I swapped my 4.10 axles for his 3.55 axles, good guy indeed

Go over to Little America and talk to the guys out in the shop.I think they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I'm just envious you got to move to Flagstaff. That's one of my favorite areas of this country.

cmax, I've got to fix the same timing cover seal on my 98. Waiting for it to cooldown a bit to tear it apart, though, plus other projects are taking room in the shop right now.

Maybe I need to move to Flagg.

Your very lucky to have that shop, but you might be waiting awhile for it to cool down.. I don't have any options right now living in an apartment. I hope that the crank seal is the sole cause. I think I'll have it fixed in Salt Lake along with a 3kGSK and the timing done before I bring it down. Baker Diesel up there has a good quote for me..
