Ford 7.3 injector replacement question

Hey all,

I replaced the injectors on one of my companies 99 powerstroke 550's. I'm just wondering if anyone with experience can tell me how long the engine has to crank before oil pressure will build back up to fire the injectors? I filled the high pressure oil reservoir on the front, but that didn't seem to help. Don't know if this will matter but I also just went ahead and drained the oil when I had the injectors out since the truck needed an oil change anyways. The truck does have oil back in it now, btw (duh! )
Thanks

powerstroke takes about 4 gallons with the turbo, so yeah it might take a while to crank oil to everything if its "dry".
