Fass pump
https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...QreJM-_6EByGXA This picture is worth 1000 words. I am trying to increase my fuel pressure. I have ordered two sets of springs from fass this is my 10th tempt to try to get 15 lbs pressure from this pump. As of now the best I can get is 13 after stretching the spring, Fass has had this pump twice one for fuel pressure the next time a new motor. I have done everything on the engine side to try to solve this with no luck and I have looked around for different springs but was not able to find any ( odd size just under 5/16 ) The springs that are coming are ? a 18 and 45 lbs to try cut down and or stretch. Short of buying a new regulated pump for my life time warranty pump and No I am not sending it back again, the time I send it back and forth I might as well buy one ..............So looking for any ideas would help, all this for a 3 dollar spring .thanks

A thought......how many different gauges have you tried to confirm the actual pressure?.....not uncommon for gauges to read a little high or low.
The other thing that comes to mind is have you confirmed there are no restrictions of any kind feeding the pump?

Three, its not the gauge, I can pin the needle if I want it's trying to find the right spring. I think the configuration of the pump gear is a little different and without a few different pumps to pull apart and mic to confirm I am at a loss so trial and error, shims ???
