I got the picture off of google , it is an OTC stand, It seems with a little more research that that particular stand has been discontinued , it was rated for 2000 lbs. We got some very similar ones when I was back to school for block training a couple months ago , from OTC , but I can't locate them on the OTC website, the new ones we got were 4 wheeled instead of 3 like the discontinued model.

Sorry i can't help more.

yeah, we're using the one JKM posted earlier in class, its not the greatest stand in the world, lots of lost functionality.

I had an all iron 392 Hemi on my Costco stand for years, and each head on that dude was 80#!!! I never has a bit of trouble, but as someone said earlier, make sure you use grade 8 bolts (and don't try to roll it on a gravel road!).

I don't know how much those stands are selling for. but I recently made my own for about $150 (materials and castors). Its not quite complete, but very close. Need to tie a support in between each leg and weld the saddle mounts onto the frame, to hold the custom mounts attached to the block. Frame made from 3x3 HSS with 900lb chemical resistant castors with double lock swivels.

Oue second baby is due next week, so projects have gone to a holding pattern.

these are good too, slightly less functional though:

I think i will make myself a version of this type stand. Thanks everybody

I've got a couple of engine stands, and you can be sure that I wouldn't let a CTD within a couple yards of either of them. Frankly I've never seen an engine stand in person that I would put A Cummins on!

That said, for what it would cost to buy a heavy duty enough engine stand I'd probably build my own.
