6.0 intercooler

Does anyone know what the limit is for a stock ford 6.0 intercooler? Will it handle 50 psi?

Randy

I am going to need a intercooler for my Excursion when I install the 12 valve. I can get a 6.0 cooler cheap that should bolt right in. I guess I need a 7.3 cooler that is all aluminum.

It depends on what mods your 12 valve will have. I don't have one in my 92 and my egts are fine. My mods are in my sig.

The 7.3 only boosts to 22-26 psi. Yes the 7.3 cooler will handle higher pressures, I am not sure how high though.
