6.0 intercooler

Does anyone know what the limit is for a stock ford 6.0 intercooler? Will it handle 50 psi?

I am going to need a intercooler for my Excursion when I install the 12 valve. I can get a 6.0 cooler cheap that should bolt right in. I guess I need a 7.3 cooler that is all aluminum.

It depends on what mods your 12 valve will have. I don't have one in my 92 and my egts are fine. My mods are in my sig.

It's going to have twins on it with about 40 to 50 pounds boost. Need a cooler.

The 7.3 only boosts to 22-26 psi. Yes the 7.3 cooler will handle higher pressures, I am not sure how high though.

My sons got a 7.3 inter cooler in his first gen and it hold 60 psi with his twins
