I traded a 2003 Ford F250 6.0L PSD Kings Ranch CC LB 2WD for a new 2004.5 Dodge Lariat because
it was built in Feb 2003 and Ford would not replace my injectors with the new model they placed in
the assembly line on Apr 15, 2003. In addition, my oil-in-fuel analysis from Blackstone labs had gone
from less than 0.5% to 2.0% in 15,000 miles. The Kings Ranch bucket seats pinched in too much.
After getting the Dodge Cummins I forgot how much easier it was to open the hood and not have to
have a step ladder to reach anything like in my Ford. Dodge front seats may mot be pure buckets but
they are much better on long drives... I have pulled my 35' Hitchhiker recently and the Dodge 600HO engine
did better than my Ford 6.0L PSD. I will not go back to Ford...Cozy The Old Fighter/U-2 Pilot.

I would say do not try to stop him......There are a lot of diesel mechanics that need the work. When Ford gives up on the trouble, guess where the truck goes? We get a lot of those in the shop. Pays well, too.

So did your dad get the truck or did you? Nice truck, though! What options did you get? Did you get the six speed?

It's my dads truck, but I like it alot and I did all the dealing on it so I say it's part of me too.

Basically fully loaded minus a couple options... it's automatic unfortunately.

After going to "The Diesel Stop.Com" I realized these Ford guys are crazier than Chevy guys! I don't know if you call it loyalty or stupidity? One guy says his truck died at a gas station after leaving the dealership and he's ready for another one? I feel so much better about that little power steering fluid leak now! And these guys aren't pulling anything with them yet they aren't even broke in?
