You are exactly right. The picture in the first post is definetly an older style engine with the VE pump. According to those other links they are now running HPCR. Those pictures are probably a couple years old.

One link brings you to the F250, which does have according the specs the HPCR engine. The link that I posted brings you to the F350 and heavier trucks. According to that site the trucks have a good old fashioned 4BTA in them.

I am talking about the picture of the truck in the very first post. That has a VE pump on it.

Most likely it's the 4.2L I6 TDI. Same engine used in the F series in South Africa.

They do drive on the wrong side of the road (right hand drive).
