Does this bother anyone else?

It's a 3.9L B-series, with Common-rail injection. In Brazil, smaller diesels are the norm. It's really odd to see an F-250 SD regular-cab Short-bed.
From this site, https://www.ford.com.br/Default.asp
aim your mouse up toward the vechiles area - go to "Pickups" and they "F-250..." click there. Then point toward "Dados Do Veiculo" and then on "Motor" which comes up above it. Also "Especificacoes" will show you the specifications in more detail. Wish there was more detail here, sort of an odd site.

Well Diesel trucks are evolving by the time 2010 gets hear these engines are going to get more and more complex. For example the exshaust recirculation system on the 07 that stuff sucks plain and simple. The injection on these trucks is getting more and more fine, we are going to reach a point where everyone is going to be buying up the "simple engines" . You just wait.

The F350 has a 120hp 4BTA, so I retract my previous statement saying it was a 12 valve and now happly state correctly it is only 8 valves. The Crew cab appears to have a 141 hp version.
This link will bring you to the F350 trucks.

If Ford's engineers don't mess with the Cummins engine, I would have no problem owning a Ford Cummins diesel. I don't really have any brand loyalty. I happen to like my Dodge, but I don't like it because it's a Dodge. It happens to be an excellent truck.

Cummins midsouth was at the Indiana State Fair this year and the subject of the Ford owns Cummins thing came up and he stood up and told everyone that Ford Owns no part of Cummins. This was last friday. However he said thst in Brazil they put Cummins engines in Fords. These pictures are definately a 3.9bt with a VE pump. All old school, no epa crap just a proven engine that is easy to work on and will last forever.

ACTUALLY, IF YOU READ YHE WALL STREET JOURNAL EVERY DAY, YOUD KNOW THAT FORD NO LONGER OWNS ANY PART OF CUMMINS SINCE 2002. IN FACT, CUMMINS PUT MONEY BACK INTO FORD JANUARY 2006, SO ROLES ARE REVERSED. CUMMINS ACTUALLY OWNS A PIECE OF FORD. THIS WAS DONE AS HELP MONITARILY DUE TO FORD LOSSES OF SHARE IN THE MARKET, TO APPEASE SHARE HOLDERS.
