General Diesel Discussion Talk about general diesel engines (theory, etc.) If it's about diesel, and it doesn't fit anywhere else, then put it right in here.

"Ram Titan" Has an interesting ring to it! Not sure if they will do it though. Sounds like they are going to lend the Frontier to Suzuki though! Man, I hate platform sharing, doesn't anybody have an origanl thought?

I like Nissans, drive a 97 pathfinder and sold an 84 hardbody, My Dad has only had Nissan hardbody's and a frontier. Nissan are good cars and trucks. If they put an inline diesel in the Titan I may not be able to stop drueling! I'd take a Titan over a Tundra anyday! (looks like a Tacoma that got its mouth around a highpressure air hose)

Hope Chysler can stay on top of their game, they have posted some huge losse of late. Would hate for anything to happen to the Dodge line!

That's why they're sharing platforms with the mounting losses they gotta find ways to cut costs, a necessary evil..

If I didn't like my truck I'd sure get rid of it regardless the engine it has. I'm a Ford guy but I'm impressed with my first Dodge. I must have just gotten a good one..

VW Caravan?

On a related note, I read a while back that the new VW minivan is going to be a direct knock off of the Chrysler minivans - a deal that was struck while DC was still in play. Ahh, found the link ...

http://www.caranddriver.com/autoshow...n-minivan.html

By the way, when is VW going to realize they are not a premium player in the market, that's Audi's job, I've heard VW may be bringing the Phaeton back, how dumb is that?

I thought the exact same thing when I saw the new Tundra. They tried wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too hard to make it look big and tough. Titan looks much better. Give that thing some duals and a cummins and we'd be in business.
