I am a Nissan guy. When I went and drove an 04' Quad Cab Dodge 1500 it drove just like a Nissan would. I was pleased with that and bought the truck. Little did I know at the time that the wifey wanted to get back into horses. So, long story short, I went looking for what I drive today. If I would of known that I would of bought a Cummins in the first place. LOL!!

I fail to see why this is a bad thing. Chrysler is doing what it can to remain viable. If this is what it takes to remain independent, let alone solvent, then I'm all for it. The Titan has been a sales dog from inception, and Chrysler can fill a lot of manufacturing jobs by making an additional 50K trucks per year.

A little more info...at least the Ram will be assembled in the USA, according to Automotive News:
Chrysler will make the Nissan pickup for Nissan at its Saltillo, Mexico, factory. To make room for the Nissan product, Chrysler will shift Dodge Ram production to its St. Louis North and Warren, Mich., truck plants. LaSorda said heavy duty production would likely be shifted to St. Louis North, while light duty production could easily be shifted to Warren. The Chrysler-built Nissan pickup will go on sale in North America in 2011.

If you can get the UAW out of the way >>> That will bring the prices down and increase quality... Look at Toyota!
No Union = Better Quality for Similar Price. Or Same Quality for a Much lower price.
