That was my thought - Cummins in a Chevy but the medium diesel situation is like NASCAR silly season . What will power GM medium duties ? Well GM wants to sell off the medium duty trucks . International is named as a likely buyer . So will they get a DT466 or a version of the 6.4 twin turbo ?

All this speculation is rediculous! None of this is going to happen.

You're right , Luke . Just speculation http://www.sterlingtrucks.com/SterlingBullet/ . How many RV haulers and hotshotters would like 24/7 service offered by Sterling dealers in some areas ?

To anybody who posts these kinds of threads (ie Ford owns Cummins, Dodge going to Cat, Benz etc diesels etc etc) please stop before you hit the post thread button. Maybe just maybe, think about what kind of rediculous claim you are going to post. I'm sorry but knowing someone "reliable" and saying it on the internet isn't going to put any truth into the claim. Try researching the rumour you're going to post and chances are, it has 0 credibility to it.

Hold on... I just heard from my uncles neighbor that Dodge is going be using Mitsubishi diesels in 3 years, wait a second doesn't that seem a little far fetched? Just like every other engine partnership rumour that gets posted on here?

Sorry for my rant, but it gets tiring to come on here and see a post like this every week. Let it die people, let it die.

Does anybody remember the Toyota Mega Cruiser. I think that's what it was called. It was a sort of Japanese Humvee. I saw it on TV in Antarctica one day a long time ago. Anyways, it had a diesel in it but I can't remember if Toyota made it but I thought they did.
