Dodge Cummins with BlUETEC technology a fact

Well, was at brandXstop and found them talking about Ferd and possibly another engine to meet the 2010 standards and somebody said all big three will have to redesign for that and another guy said not the 6.7 Cummins and posted this which refers to the BLUETEC technology. I thought that was Mercedes-Benz stuff. Kinda makes you wonder if Cummins and Mercedes are working together and not trying to eliminate. Heres the article, good read too.

A Mercedes diesel will be available in the Jeep Grand Cherokee . Jeep , Chrysler and Mercedes are all part of Daimler/Chrysler . But Daimler wants to dump Chrysler and already plans to change its name back to Daimler/Benz. http://www.leftlanenews.com/daimlerc...thin-year.html . Then what ? Why did D/C come out with the Sterling Bullet based on the Dodge 4500 ? Will Chrysler be bought by a Chinese investor ? http://today.reuters.com/news/articl...-CompanyNews-3

BLUETEC is a name for ultra clean emissions diesels. Not limited to DC only. BMW and Audi also have BT diesels.

flametech
I'm gonna get me one of them, think of how handy it would be when camping
and need to light the camp fire. Or jump out and roast some weenies at a long stoplight.

Worried about emissions and global warming? Get yourself a Ferd. Their extra HOT exhaust burns off all the bad stuff before it leaves the tail pipe.

FLAMETECH® by FERD exceeding the new 2010 emission standards.

That's funny right there, I don't care who you are!

I was told that the 6.7l is already 2010 compliant.
